Come join me as we transport ourselves back in time on this six week Ancient Celtic Song journey.
I am so excited to share one of my greatest passions with you, singing ancient folk songs. Each week we will be exploring different ancient songs, many in Gaelic, and all with a story to be told that deserves to be shared.

OUR MAIN AIM
Throughout this course is to connect more deeply with our own voice, but also with the voices of our ancestors through the songs they wrote and sang. One of my favourite things about sharing these ancient folk songs is how potent they are at helping us to connect with our ancestors, in a unique way that I believe just isn’t possible in any other form.
When learning these songs you will see just how similar we are to those who have passed before us, they really humanise our ancestors.
Just like us they experienced love and also heartbreak, jealousy, sadness, loss and all the other human emotions we experience.

SONG SHARING
Just like so many indigenous communities around the world, indigenous communities of Europe are also experiencing the loss and erosion of their people and culture.
This includes their magical songs and stories. So much has already been lost throughout history, it feels like a duty and an honour to keep the lineage of these Celtic songs and stories alive.
THE PROCESS
Each Wednesday at 7.30pm we will meet online via zoom for 1.5 hours to do various vocal practices including warming the voice, voice activation & blockage release, journal prompts, folk history, and of course to learn a Celtic song (most in Gaelic). In total you will learn 6 songs & chants.
WEEKLY CLASSES
You will have access to a WhatsApp group for weekly support between classes. Use for questions, sharing anything on your heart that week and general support and connection.
ONLINE SUPPORT
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
You will receive a 44 page course book with all the songs, their translations and much much more. Please also always bring a journal and a pen, plus a candle and light, for each live session. I encourage you to create a cosy, safe space each week for our session.
Sessions can be recorded & emailed to you if you can’t make each one.
